Diversity & Inclusion
We launched EyUp to change people’s lives
We are attracting recruits from a diverse range of different backgrounds. People choose to join us from all walks of life, including building sites, bartending, the police force and the Royal Navy. We have even welcomed refugees from oppressive regimes who want to create successful new lives in the UK.
Half the population has the natural ability to learn how to code
Our applicants are evaluated on aptitude rather than experience as part of the assessment process. We want to break down the traditional barriers to entry because there has never been a better time to join the UK tech sector with a record number of job vacancies and attractive salaries on offer.
Want to join EyUp but can’t afford the fees? Apply for our bursary scheme
We operate an inclusive bursary scheme to fund places for people from disadvantaged backgrounds or who are under-represented in our industry. We have also partnered with fair student finance provider EdAid to help recruits defer the cost of tuition fees with an interest-free payment plan.
EyUp changed my life – it can change yours too
Kian fled his Middle Eastern country of origin because of hostile attitudes towards homosexuality. The IT and engineering graduate endured many hardships but is now filled with hope for the future after winning a fully-funded bursary place. He said: “EyUp is truly life-changing – it gives me a base to build on and will open so many doors of opportunity.”
Whatever your gender, EyUp graduates identify with success
More than four out of ten EyUp graduates identify as female, which is helping to bring greater balance to a traditionally male-dominated sector. We want to create opportunities for people to fulfil their potential, whatever their identity and background. Talent is everywhere.
We are Disability Confident
We are members of the Disability Confident community and are committed to making a difference for disabled people in the workplace. There are 7.6 million working-age people who have a disability or health condition and we are tapping into this talent pool.
We guarantee a tech job or your money back
Most EyUp recruits have received an offer of employment by the time they graduate from our 16-week training programme. In the unlikely event that graduates haven’t found a tech job within six months, we will refund the cost of the course. We want to make a positive impact on diversity and inclusion in the tech sector.
