Capital Enterprise are looking to recruit a Programme Coordinator for the EyUp Entrepreneurship Academy

About the job

We are seeking a full time Programme Coordinator to assist in running the EyUp Entrepreneurship Academy in the South Yorkshire region. This exciting programme combines 6 months incubation plus coaching, mentoring and expert support to small cohorts who will build an investable software business. 

  • Assist in the recruitment, assessment and selection of growth entrepreneurs onto the programme.
  • Manage the enrolment of the startups on the programme, including all related administration requirements.
  • Assist in facilitation of  1-2-1 sessions and other events focussed on helping people accelerate through business transitions, e.g. starting out, testing an MVP, raising finance.
  • Manage the process of introducing startups to the programmes’s participating investors and mentors including correspondence, meetings and follow-ups.
  • Leveraging mentor relationships to coordinate delivery of various sessions – workshops, Office Hours, keynotes, founder social events etc.
  • Promote the startup accelerator programme to entrepreneurs and startups. 
  • Assist in managing and growing the list of stakeholders and referral partners.
  • Gather data and qualitative evidence of impact and progress through the programme, plus any other necessary administrative tasks related to the TEAM SY funding and outputs
  • Manage the accelerator programme calendar, documentation, notes, collateral and reporting for TEAM SY plus any other administrative tasks required.
  • Coordinate the day to day operations of the programme.
  • Organising meetings and providing administrative and logistical support for the programme.

About you

Person Specification

  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • An understanding of acceleration programmes (including workshops, e-learning and mentoring/coaching) and passionate about startups.
  • Energetic and open-minded, willing to learn and implement new ideas at pace.
  • Take charge and deliver on your own; be proactive and independent.
  • Exceptional and proven writing and communication skills.

Essential experience

  • Experience in managing complex projects involving different stakeholders, event coordination, and programme delivery logistics.
  • Experience of collecting data to monitor programme impact.
  • Experience of event coordination and/or marketing and communications. 
  • At least 2 years experience in business support programmes (for example, running an incubator or accelerator, or working for local govt. business support).

Desired experience

  • Knowledge of availability and access requirements for government grants for business growth and development.
  • Experience in designing, delivering or facilitating accelerator programmes.
  • Relevant business experience working with startups or growth businesses.
  • Experience / knowledge of software-enabled businesses.
  • Experience in supporting innovation-focused businesses.

Salary

£30-34k depending on experience

Duration 

This role will last until June 2023
